About the event

Doug Bennett, M.Photog, CR, F-ASP, has been a member of PPA since 2011.  He earned his Master’s Degree along with his Craftsman Degree in 2015. He’s a three- time Imaging Excellence Award recipient, six-time Diamond Photographer of the Year, Platinum Photographer of the Year, and a Gold Photographer of the Year.  He is also a two-time Grand Imaging Award Finalist finishing 1 st  in 2017 and 2 nd  in 2015 in the Landscape/Nature Category. He also garnered 1 st Place in the 2023 IPC in the Landscape Category.


Doug will be exploring techniques that will improve your landscape compositions and which will enhance your viewers’ experience. Among the techniques that will be presented are various visual transitions to include the all-important “transition of blacks” and tonal clustering.
