CPP Study Group 6/14/20

As the leading certifying agency for imaging professionals, the Professional Photographic Certification program is recognized throughout the industry. When you see a photographer displaying a Certified Professional Photographer seal, you can be sure that he or she is among the less than 3% of all imaging professionals who have successfully completed and maintained the requirements.

Those who have earned the Professional Photographic Certification have passed a comprehensive written exam measuring their technical expertise, and have successfully submitted their work to a panel of judges for review and approval.

The PPC will be hosting a 6 week study group that begins Sunday June 14th. Class participants will read a chapter every 2 weeks and meet in a zoom online class (1-3pm MST) to review the chapter and what they have learned. Once the class is completed, we are currently working with a local PPA certified instructor to provide a prep class to help you prepare for taking the “Certified Professional Photographer” exam, which will be provided at the PPC Annual 2020 Conference.

Every five years, a photographer must renew his or her credentials by participating in continuing education programs and periodically submitting work for critical evaluation. This helps assure you that certified photographers maintain their level of expertise and continue to develop new skills and techniques.
